Manetti cotto

The clay from the town of Impruneta in the Tuscan hills south of Florence, as made by Manetti Gusmano & Figli for more than eight generations, has been renowned over the centuries for its attractive color and durability. It was a favored material of the great Florentine architects and builders of the Renaissance. Manetti Gusmano & Figli preserves this legacy, maintaining the hand working techniques and range of forms, as well as using modern industrial processes to serve more contemporary aesthetics. From separate, neighboring facilities, both modes of production honor the historical standards of quality for the region.
