The clay from the town of Impruneta in the Tuscan hills south of Florence, as made by Manetti Gusmano & Figli for more than eight generations, has been renowned over the centuries for its attractive color and durability. It was a favored material of the great Florentine architects and builders of the Renaissance. Manetti Gusmano & Figli preserves this legacy, maintaining the hand working techniques and range of forms, as well as using modern industrial processes to serve more contemporary aesthetics.
